Draft, pending legal review

This document is a working draft written alongside the site build. It has not yet been reviewed by counsel and must not be relied upon. It is published here so that the review has something concrete to work from.

Our position

No analytics or marketing cookie is set before you consent. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, this site sets nothing beyond what is strictly necessary to serve the page.

We are a security practice. Loading a third-party tracker on our own site while advising clients about supply-chain risk would be difficult to defend, so we do not.

Strictly necessary

One cookie records your cookie preference, so that we do not ask again on every page. It contains your choice and nothing else, and it expires after twelve months.

Where you submit a form, a short-lived token is used to protect against automated abuse. It does not identify you and it is discarded once the submission completes.

These are set without consent because the site cannot function correctly otherwise.

Analytics, only with consent

If you consent, we set analytics cookies that tell us which pages are read, roughly where visitors are in the world at country level, and what brought them here. We use this to work out which parts of this site are useful and which are not.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build profiles of individuals, and we do not share analytics data with data brokers or advertising networks.

What we deliberately avoid

Fonts are self-hosted rather than loaded from a font service, so visiting this page does not tell a third party that you did. There is no content delivery network in front of our assets, no embedded social widgets, no session replay, no chat widget and no advertising pixel.

Booking a call uses a third-party scheduling tool, which sets its own cookies once you reach it. That happens on their page rather than ours, and their notice applies there.

Changing your mind

Your cookie preference can be changed from any page on this site, at any time, and withdrawing consent removes the analytics cookies rather than merely stopping new ones.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not break this site.
